Humanitarian Magic
About Humanitarian Magic
Every year I volunteer performances and workshops to organizations that provide critical care and support to underprivileged children. From pediatric ICUs in New York City to refugee camps abroad, I do whatever I can to evoke smiles and lift spirits. Drawing from thousands of hours performing and teaching in schools, I use magic and juggling performances to spark children’s curiosity and excitement, then facilitate skill-building workshops that expand critical thinking, concentration, hand-eye coordination, and presentation skills.
Humanitarian Magic - July 2019
My humanitarian projects with refugees in Greece.
Since June of 2017, with the support of interpreters and staff from a multitude of aid organizations, I have run programs in 28 locations throughout Northern Greece for refugee children and families in search of a brighter future. It has been my hope that these enrichment programs boost self-confidence, engage creativity, promote an interest in the arts, and create invaluable positive memories.
