Virtual Magic Show Highlights; Corporate Entertainment And Close Up Magic

Harrison Kramer | January 30, 2021

When it comes to the current coronavirus pandemic nobody really knows what the future will hold with regards to just about any aspect of life. But, as I sit here performing virtual magic shows for businesses around the world, I constantly witness the lives I’m impacting with every show.

Everyone has a different situation going on at home. Some employees have kids and are juggling with distance learning and making sure they have what they need. Others might be dealing with loss and more financial obligations at home. But, during a virtual magic show, all those worries and fears disappear.

In one of my recent videos I highlight the happiness, laughter and surprise of many individuals, corporate employees and friends through close up virtual magic, live from my magic lair.

Witness close up magic during a virtual magic show

Close up magic has gotten a little more challenging during COVID-19. When you really think about it, close up magic used to depend on being close to people as a form of misdirection as well as having them handle the props that you are using during your magical and mentalism effects. That all changed with virtual shows.

These days it’s no longer about choosing one guest or individual to perform magic or mentalism on. Everyone is now a part of the show! You bring a deck of cards, a coin and you just have to make sure you have a laptop with a webcam (or any smartphone).

“Pick a card, any card” can still be done through a virtual magic show. Once you start dealing with multiple cards and multiple people at the same time, it will become cumbersome to use such a table method in place of in person contact. The one thing that I know for sure is every single trick that a magician performs online will require massive amounts of thought while making sure the trick maintains its magical and mysterious wow factor.

Unique virtual magic shows for everyone, anywhere

Are virtual events the “new” event trends of the future? Companies will only continue to adapt to new technology and the way COVID-19 shapes our future. As for myself, I will continue entertaining crowds, all across the world with memorable virtual shows that unite everyone. With the absence of in person contact, a virtual magic show:

  • Is unpredictable everytime
  • Can help break the ice for your corporate meetings
  • Will bring employees closer together
  • And can teach you something new about magic or mentalism

Need help planning a virtual magic show for your next corporate event? Here is a list of common shows that I’ve performed for businesses and private events around the world:

  • Virtual magic cocktail parties
  • Virtual magic happy hours
  • Corporate meetings
  • Employee Appreciations
  • Ice breakers with your clients
  • Employee birthday parties
  • Employee Anniversaries
  • Promotions
  • Private events
  • And more!
