In-person events may be returning, but this doesn’t mean it’s the end for virtual events. In fact, virtual events were on the rise even before the pandemic. One of the many things 2020 has taught us during the era of COVID-19 is that there are actually some, even many, advantages to hosting a virtual event. The Zoom meeting is not going away. 

Many businesses will continue to take advantage of virtual events because it’s an easier way to gather a large number of people. It’s also easier to schedule a meeting in different time zones. It’s saving companies huge amounts of money in travel costs. Lastly, its’ connection power is undeniable. These platforms have connected people and have helped many businesses get their messages across to clients and employees in a much more streamlined and effective fashion than the office memo, or even a conference call. It has the invaluable element of engagement power. 

There is a challenge, however. As we continue with these types of events, there is a demand for more engaging and complex virtual entertainment. Ensuring a smooth production for motivational speakers, organizations, company meetings, forums, etc. becomes trickier in order to guarantee a successful meeting. Hosting has become a tricky task, especially when you have to fight “Zoom fatigue”. This role is a critical part of putting an event altogether while providing a unique and unforgettable experience for attendees. 

Luckily for you and your business, I’ve learned the ins and outs of what it takes to make a virtual event successful. I’ve virtually hosted and facilitated over 600 virtual magic shows and events this past year. Don’t believe me? For years, I used to be known as your local NYC magician and mentalist. I had live magic shows everywhere. But, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, I adapted like many other entertainers, to virtual entertainment. From learning how to do close-up magic online and engaging and motivating virtual guests during business meetings, parties, and other events, I honed my skills and learned how to become one of the most successful virtual hosts out there, throughout North America, the UK, Canada, and Australia. 

Businesses continue to book me because I know how to bring more to the virtual table of a typical Zoom magic show. It’s not just magic tricks or smoke and mirrors. I deliver mind-bending entertainment and help businesses follow magical agendas that incorporate their speakers and attendees while keeping everything on track. Things like wifi and having a good internet connection is crucial for a meeting to even take place. I also know that many businesses use different virtual platforms to conduct meetings or to run virtual live events. Although I love and prefer to use Zoom because of the platform’s capabilities to highlight certain spectators, change backgrounds, and whatnot, I’m also well schooled in other platforms like Google Meets, Blue Jeans, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and other platforms. You can call me a virtual chameleon! 

     3) Virtual hosting with virtual magic is something you don’t see everyday

The difference between what I do and what other virtual entertainers do is that I bring a certain magic to all the shows and events I host. Whether you’re doing team-building exercises, having a virtual award ceremony with entertainment, or hosting an association conference,  I know how and when to entertain with virtual magic tricks and mind-bending mentalism. A good virtual event should be seriously interactive! You can expect to be a part of a magic trick or mentalism act, making it a unique experience unlike other virtual events or virtual games out there.
